Information you provide
We collect information you voluntarily submit, such as your name, email address, country, organization, interests, messages, member username and membership request. Do not submit sensitive medical, financial, identity or legal documents through a general website form unless a secure process has been specifically provided.
Member accounts and passwords
Passwords are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes and are not readable by website administrators. Member registration requires administrator approval. Login sessions use essential security cookies.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies support security, consent choices and member login. Optional first-party analytics cookies are used only after you choose “Allow analytics.” They record a pseudonymous visitor identifier, page visited, referral source, language and browser information. Full IP addresses are not stored; an irreversible keyed hash is used for security and rate limiting. Cookies cannot reveal your real identity unless you voluntarily identify yourself through a form or account.
How information is used
Information may be used to deliver requested guides, respond to inquiries, coordinate volunteers and partnerships, review membership requests, provide organizational updates, understand website use, prevent abuse, maintain records and comply with applicable legal or accounting duties.
Donations and payment information
Card information is processed by the verified third-party payment provider. HelpTheRabbi.com does not intentionally store complete payment-card details. Bank, Zelle and PayPal instructions identify organizational giving methods supplied by Congregation Bnei Anusim Inc.
Sharing and sale of data
Personal information is not sold. It may be shared with trusted providers only when reasonably necessary to operate the website, send communications, process donations, meet legal duties or protect people and the organization.
Retention and security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No internet service is completely secure. Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, security, organizational records and applicable law.
