Donation and Transparency Policy
Effective date: July 18, 2026
This policy explains how HelpTheRabbi.com presents charitable giving, mission preferences and personal assistance.
Verified organizational giving
Tax-deductible organizational donations on this website are made for Congregation Bnei Anusim Inc., a United States 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 42-2204885. The primary online payment destination is the organization’s Chesed Fund campaign. Deductibility is subject to applicable law and the donor’s circumstances.
One organization, several missions
HelpTheRabbi.com raises support for ReJEWenate, ReJEWenate SOS, Bnei Anusim, approved rabbinic service and general charitable operations. A donor may express a mission preference. Unless the organization accepts a legally restricted gift in writing, preferences are not separate legal charities and the board retains appropriate discretion to meet related charitable needs.
Receipts and payment methods
Online receipts are issued by the verified payment processor. Zelle, PayPal, bank transfer and check instructions must identify Congregation Bnei Anusim Inc. and EIN 42-2204885. Donors should contact office@bneianusim.org if a receipt, dedication or allocation note requires clarification.
Recurring gifts and refunds
Recurring gifts may be changed or cancelled through the payment provider or by contacting the organization. Refund requests are reviewed individually, considering processing charges, fraud prevention, whether funds have been committed or spent, and applicable law.
Personal assistance to Rabbi Makor
Personal assistance is clearly separate from charitable organizational giving and is not tax-deductible unless formally accepted, controlled and receipted under an approved organizational program. Board-approved compensation, housing support, travel, food, teaching, shechita and ministry reimbursements are organizational expenditures when authorized and documented by the organization.
Financial transparency
We publish verified organizational information, project priorities, program updates and appropriate financial reports to help donors understand how contributions are used. Material restricted gifts, conflicts of interest, compensation and reimbursements should be handled under board-approved policies and records.
